We are recruiting for a Designer to join Nolte Kitchens. This role would suit a product designer with at least five years’ experience in the home/kitchen design retail market.

This role is based in our Exeter Showroom and reports to the Showroom Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Use of internal systems including CRM reporting tools efficiently (training will be provided).
- Drawing new plans/designs based on customer/client brief.
- Surveying locations accurately in order to produce suitable designs for furniture to be installed.
- Supporting the Showroom Manager with ordering processes/liaising with our manufacturing colleagues in Germany and completion of technical drawings for customer/client projects.
- Lead taking, booking design appointments and presenting designs to clients/customers.
- Administration support for showroom lead marketing activities.
- Engaging with walk-in customers and ensuring our clients/customers receive the highest level of customer service.
- Deliver on kitchen sales targets and enhance opportunities for further income growth.
- Answering the phone and dealing with daily enquiries and customer/client enquiries throughout a project.
- Provide an effective kitchen after-sales service to clients/customers to maintain and enhance business reputation and secure repeat business.
- Ensuring the showroom is maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
Candidate requirements:
- At least 5 years’ previous experience with design in a luxury kitchen retail or showroom environment. Other comparable home design experience may be considered.
- Good customer service and sales experience with some evidence of sales achieved in previous roles.
- Knowledge of design using CAD software. Training on our product design system (Winner) will also be provided.
- Proactive with a desire to learn and develop in the role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and presentation skills and IT literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Personable, friendly and confident with a can-do attitude.
- Driving Licence (preferred).
