We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our growing local team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work at heights. Requirements- Must have own transport and live within 12 miles of Harrogate
- Install, repair, and maintain different types of roofing materials including shingles, tiles, metal sheets, and membranes
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks
- Use welding techniques where necessary to secure roofing components or fabricate custom parts
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as roofing panels, insulation, and other supplies
- Conduct fabrication and carpentry work to prepare roofing structures or supports
- Apply masonry or plumbing skills if required for specialised roofing systems or associated structures
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite throughout the project duration
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades (min 1 year)
- Knowledge of schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings
