The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of solar and BESS installation projects across a broad UK region. You'll work closely with both site teams and office staff, managing programmes, client relationships, and technical delivery to ensure every project runs smoothly and to the highest standard. Your clients will include some of the UK's leading housing developers, making this a high-profile and commercially important role within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-start processes and ensure all site requirements are in place ahead of mobilisation
  • Understand and apply complex electrical principles relating to solar PV systems and battery energy storage
  • Review and approve job cards, monitoring site progress throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure smooth, on-time delivery of projects from initial sign-off through to completion
  • Collaborate with office-based and site-based teams to keep projects on track and on budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to maintain project momentum

Qualifications

  • A proven background in project management within domestic solar PV and/or battery energy storage is essential
  • Strong electrical knowledge — understanding of complex solar and BESS systems is essential
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across a wide geographic area
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
  • Full UK driving licence (car allowance provided)
  • Must be commutable to the Wetherby office
