Warehouse & Production Manager Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Trafford Park Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays) Auto Enrolment Pension. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. (Two shifts – 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm) The Role: We are working exclusively with our client, a renowned market leader in the motive power industry, to recruit a Warehouse & Production Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of the warehouse and production operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from receipt through to final distribution. You will oversee the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of batteries and their components, while driving excellence across the entire production process. Example of Responsibilities: Ensure stock is accurately recorded in a timely manner and promptly communicate with relevant departments. Lead and manage employees, addressing attendance, performance, and conduct issues in line with company policies. Supervise day-to-day activities to consistently meet production targets. Identify and resolve inefficiencies or production bottlenecks to maintain workflow. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, escalating issues where necessary. Coach and support team leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities across the department. Promote a safe, inclusive, and growth-focused environment for all employees. Ensure production and warehouse processes meet ISO standards and quality requirements. Enforce safety protocols across production and warehouse facilities to safeguard all staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, warehousing, and customer demand planning functions. Act as the lead point of contact between production, warehouse operations, customer demand planning, and other departments.Requirements: Previous experience working as a Warehouse Manager or Production Manager. Forklift Licence – counterbalance and reach are preferable Excellent communication team management skills. Very organised, efficient and keen attention to detail. Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of inventory management best practices and logistics principles. Ability to commute to Trafford Park on a daily basis.
