AutoCAD Engineer (Water) Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Barnsley Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Hybrid: Ideally 2 days in the office and 3 WFH however there is flexibility Salary: £30,000-£35,000 p.a. + 26 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays) This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing engineering design consultancy. They are hiring for 2 Design Engineers to join the team. As an AutoCAD Engineer / Technician you will be responsible for designing overall water infrastructure schemes such as sewer improvement schemes or flood defence programmes, and associated structures, such as pumping stations, pipework and earthworks (the scale of the design may range from an initial outline to a full, detailed design). Previous experience within Water CAD Design is required. Due to the growth of the company progression will be available should you want this. Example of Responsibilities: Visit sites to gain information and dimensions. Review technical submissions Produce accurate drawings of utilities. Ensure that relevant stakeholders and authorities are updated, and information is accurately maintained. Produce detailed and accurate drawings for the design team. Essential Skills/Background: AutoCAD experience is essential.
