Nolan Recruitment are recruiting a Workshop Engineer on behalf of one of their growing clients based in Colchester.
The Role:
- Assembly and build of specialist equipment
- Testing and inspection of systems (training provided)
- Carrying out repair and overhaul work including strip-down, rebuild and testing
- Supporting general workshop operations, including goods in/out
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance
The Candidate:
- Mechanical or engineering background (NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience working in a workshop or assembly environment
- Basic electrical knowledge beneficial
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- IT literate (MS Office)
Desirable:
- Forklift experience
- Experience working with mechanical systems
