Operating at the intersection of leadership communications, corporate narrative, strategic planning and Nokia-wide messaging alignment, this role ensures that Nokia's most senior leaders deliver clear, compelling and consistent messages to employees, customers, partners, analysts, media and broader stakeholders. The role leads the Executive Communications function, which is currently hosted within Strategic Communications, and plays a key role in developing Nokia's corporate message system, major moment planning, and communications governance. This leader works closely with Strategic Communications, Internal Communications, Media, Digital Channels, Brand, Content, Analyst Relations, Field and Partner Marketing, Business Groups and Core Functions to deliver integrated, enterprise-level communications impact. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in leadership communications, strategic planning, storytelling, and compelling executive communications.
Responsibilities
- Executive Communications Leadership
- CEO Communications
- Develop and manage the annual CEO communications plan, integrating corporate strategy, transformation priorities, reputation goals and major corporate moments.
- Lead messaging, speechwriting and content creation for CEO communications across internal and external platforms.
- Shape the CEO's thought leadership platform and signature themes.
- Prepare the CEO for major internal and external engagements, including keynotes, town halls, high-level customer meetings, media moments and strategic partnerships.
- Manage the CEO's digital presence, drafting and editing posts, and coordinating amplification with Digital Channels.
- Partner with the CEO Chief of Staff to ensure full alignment with CEO office priorities and executive rhythm.
- Develop tailored communications plans for GLT members, balancing Nokia priorities, role-specific themes, internal and external visibility (where appropriate) and strategic impact.
- Support GLT members with keynote scripts, talking points, leadership content, social media strategy and internal messages.
- Integrate GLT communications into the corporate planning and editorial calendar.
- Ensure GLT communications align with corporate narrative, CEO priorities and transformation messaging.
- Strategic Communications Responsibilities
- Corporate Narrative & Message System
- Contribute to the development of Nokia's corporate narrative, quarterly themes and message frameworks.
- Ensure leadership messaging reflects corporate priorities, strategic transformation and major corporate moments.
- Partner with Strategic Communications to embed enterprise messaging across customer, employee, media and analyst communications.
- Act as a key leader in planning and orchestrating major corporate announcements, strategic partnerships, technology launches and Nokia-wide moments.
- Coordinate leadership roles, sequencing and messaging across CEO and GLT participation.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with Media, Internal Comms, Digital, Content and Brand.
- Support the development and maintenance of the GMC editorial calendar and communications planning process.
- Ensure CEO and GLT visibility aligns with enterprise priorities and is sequenced effectively across markets and channels.
- Partner with Strategic Communications to govern message consistency, narrative alignment and cross-GMC integration.

Qualifications
You must have:
- Extensive experience in executive communications, leadership communications and strategic communications within a global technology, telecoms or B2B organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communications for C-suite leaders.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling and speechwriting capability.
- Able to simplify complex concepts into compelling messages.
- Experience shaping executive thought leadership platforms and managing high‑profile visibility programs.
- Strong strategic planning and organisational skills with ability to orchestrate major corporate moments.
- Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments, exercise sound judgment and manage sensitive or confidential information.
- Highly effective stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience working with internal/external channels including media, digital, employee communications and customer‑facing communications.
It would be advantageous if you also had:
- Experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, cloud or B2B technology sectors.
