Noisy Oyster Seafood Bistro is a new exciting concept from the team behind Firebird restaurant serving oysters, fish and seafood alongside simple, seasonal vegetable-based dishes with cocktails and wines in a relaxed and approachable atmosphere. We are an independent women‑led business, working with local and sustainable suppliers and fresh ingredients.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Has strong experience working with fish and seafood.
  • Confident in both service and prep, with solid experience supervising kitchen operations (minimum 5 years in Chef roles, including 2 years as Sous Chef).
  • Able to support the Head Chef in managing the team and ensuring consistency and quality across all sections.
  • Capable of overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards and stepping into the Head Chef’s duties when required.
  • Someone hard‑working and dedicated to high standards of work.
  • Possesses a 'can‑do' attitude, positive and outgoing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in Chef roles, including 2 years as Sous Chef.
  • Strong experience with fish and seafood.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Positive and outgoing demeanor.
