This is a full-time (48 hours a week) on-site role based in Shoreditch, London for an ambitious Head Chef to join the team at Noisy Oyster. The Head Chef will be fully responsible for the daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality seafood dishes in line with the restaurant's standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hiring, training and managing kitchen staff
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ensuring targets on GP are met
  • Supporting private events and collaborations
  • Developing menu changes

The Head Chef will also contribute to creating a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in culinary techniques, seafood preparation, and menu development
  • Leadership, team management, and staff training skills
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen operations
  • Creativity in designing dishes and optimizing seasonal ingredients
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-quality restaurant setting
