Are you a sharp QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and experience using SQL and Postman/Bruno? Our client is looking for a proactive Tester who enjoys problem-solving, exploratory testing and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative remote environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level QA Engineer / Tester to join a growing team where quality is genuinely valued.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and executing test plans, test cases and test scenarios
- Performing API testing using Postman/Bruno
- Using SQL for backend and data validation testing
- Carrying out regression, smoke and exploratory testing
- Working closely with developers, business stakeholders and other QA professionals
- Supporting continuous improvement across testing processes
Skills we’re looking for:
- Strong manual QA and testing experience
- Experience writing SQL queries including joins and data validation
- Hands-on API testing experience using Postman/Bruno
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Agile environment experience
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright or automation frameworks would be a bonus.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Tester who cares about software quality, enjoys investigating issues and wants to grow their QA career in a supportive team.
Location: Remote – UK (3 times a year in the office)
Salary: Up to £40K + Benefits
