.NET Developer - Manchester

Overview

Our client are a leading e-book firm who are on a mission to build the best reading experience, one that is both communal and personal, anytime, anywhere. They are hiring .NET Developers at all levels to work on the development of a product that makes a meaningful, lasting difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using the tech stack: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, EF Core, and related tools.
• Collaborate with a team in an Agile environment to deliver features and improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps workflows to support automated deployment and quality assurance.
• Engage in ongoing learning and apply industry-standard training and best practices as provided (e.g., .NET 10.0, ASP.NET Core, C# 14, .NET Aspire, HTML Living Standard, CSS Living Standard, Azure, AWS, Node.js, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Participate in discussions with investors, advisors and mentors and grow with the firm or pursue longer-term entrepreneurial goals.

Qualifications

• Passionate about software development with a good grasp of: .NET, .NET Core, C# and Azure SQL.
• Willingness to engage in industry-recognized training in the listed technologies.
• Ability to work in Manchester, UK with remote working options; applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
