Do you enjoy working across complex infrastructure landscapes, shaping technical direction and ensuring technology solutions are secure, scalable and fit for purpose?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally connected financial services organisation where technology plays a critical role in supporting business growth and market operations. Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to provide architectural leadership across a broad technology estate.
You will work closely with infrastructure, engineering, enterprise architecture and business teams to understand technology drivers and translate them into robust infrastructure strategies and solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring technology change, projects and releases follow appropriate governance, standards and architectural principles.
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will provide subject matter expertise across multiple infrastructure domains, supporting the evaluation and adoption of new technologies while developing standards, design patterns and technical roadmaps. You will work with technical leads, senior stakeholders and technology vendors to shape future infrastructure capabilities, while ensuring solutions remain aligned with wider enterprise architecture objectives.
Strong experience in infrastructure design, technology governance, risk management and modern IT technologies will be essential. You will also play an important role in challenging existing approaches and identifying opportunities to improve the organisation's technology landscape.
From reviewing solution designs and architecture artefacts through to supporting regional technology teams, you will help drive consistency, standardisation and continuous improvement across the infrastructure estate. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a sophisticated financial services technology environment where you will have genuine influence over infrastructure strategy and architectural direction.
