About the Company: NOIC Academy is located in the city of Markham, Ontario, Canada. Being a full-time private boarding secondary school, NOIC Academy is co-inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education, the IBO, Pearson Edexcel, and Cambridge International Education. About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced and passionate educators to join our growing international academic team. We are hiring for the following AS/A-Level Chemistry subjects teachers:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive A-Level classes in a synchronous online format.
  • Teach lessons, mark assessments, provide feedback to students in line with A-Level curriculum and examination standards.
  • Engage with students remotely, maintaining an interactive and supportive online learning environment.
  • Mark assignments, respond to student inquiries, and prepare report cards in alignment with the school’s student evaluation and reporting guidelines.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities associated with the teaching role beyond class time, including administrative tasks and student progress monitoring.
  • Provide academic support and timely feedback to students.
  • Maintain regular communication with program coordinators and academic staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of A-Level (AS or A2) teaching experience is required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and instructional skills in an online teaching environment.
  • Familiarity with synchronous teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Classin, Teams, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Teaching certification is a plus but not mandatory.
