The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are looking for a strong, dynamic performer with a male/lower vocal range to complement the band and join the new company for the 2026 tour, with a view to potentially continuing for the 3-year life cycle of the show. Our Big Top shows tour all over the UK and EU each year, performing to over 50,000 people per year. It is a full-length 2-hour performance which requires our performers to have the stamina and consistent energy to sustain this up to 7 times a week.
In 2026 we are creating and touring a brand-new production, and this role will be coming in right from the start and working with the rest of the band and the musical director to create the music for this show.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional vocal and guitar skills, additional instruments are also a plus
- Strong stage presence and confidence on stage
- A willingness to improvise and develop skills in a new performance vocabulary
- The ability to sing fluently in English, other languages are also a plus
- Someone able and willing to muck in and take an equal role in all jobs related to touring and all the challenges that come with that
