We are a family-run greetings card publisher seeking a talented and creative individual to join our dynamic and friendly studio team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, be proactive and have good time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Formatting and preparation of artwork through to print-ready files, including cleaning of artwork and creation of treatment layers.
- Sourcing of photographic images/artwork and verse from agencies and freelance artists.
- Mock-up samples of new concept ideas.
- Creation of PDFs of new potential designs for discussion with management and sales team.
- Creation of Point of Sale materials.
- Creation of visual aids/brochures for the sales team.
- Raise purchase orders for artwork and verse.
- Creation of print-ready layouts in InDesign.
- Studio administration tasks to facilitate our team working effectively.
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign in a Mac based environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and to prioritise according to initiative.
- Ability to work under time pressure, be customer-focused and respond well to last minute changes.
Advantageous Skills
- Understanding of print production, colour management, Adobe Acrobat.

Other Details
- The position is a full-time role working 8:30am–5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am–4pm Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
