About The Role

We’re looking for a Lead LS Retail Consultant to join our growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 team, focused on delivering industry-leading solutions across the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors using LS Central and D365 Business Central. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering solutions across multiple LS Retail projects - providing expert product knowledge, guiding clients through transformation, and mentoring consultants across the practice. This is a hands-on functional role with leadership responsibilities across project delivery, design assurance, client engagement, and team development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned LS Retail professional who’s ready to step into a lead position and influence the growth of our LS capability across the UK and Europe.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Act as the functional lead on LS Retail implementation and upgrade projects
  • Own solution design workshops, requirements gathering, and customer-facing scoping sessions
  • Translate retail, hospitality, and leisure requirements into scalable solutions using LS Central and D365 Business Central
  • Oversee end-to-end functional delivery including configuration, testing, training, documentation, and go-live support
  • Support project managers in tracking timelines, risks, and scope alignment across delivery milestones
  • Provide functional leadership and mentoring to other consultants in the LS Retail team
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape their roadmap and future use of LS Retail and Microsoft technologies
  • Contribute to internal IP development, delivery standards, templates, and accelerators
  • Stay up to date with the LS Central roadmap and new feature releases
  • Lead functional QA and solution assurance across assigned projects

What will you bring?

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering LS Retail / LS Central solutions (preferably in both on-prem and SaaS environments)
  • Strong knowledge of D365 Business Central, particularly in retail, POS, and back-office operations
  • Deep understanding of retail business processes, including promotions, inventory, pricing, loyalty, and store operations
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring functional consultants and supporting delivery teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – able to manage workshops, demos, and client relationships confidently
  • Experience across full project lifecycles including scoping, gap-fit analysis, UAT, training, and post-go-live
  • Strong documentation and solution design skills
  • Microsoft certifications such as MB-800 and any LS Retail-specific accreditations are highly desirable
  • Previous experience in international/multi-country retail rollouts is a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed to support key clients and project delivery
