About The Role

We’re looking for a Business Central Technical Architect to join our growing Microsoft Business Applications team. This is a key role responsible for defining, designing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central, helping our customers achieve real digital transformation.

As a Technical Architect, you’ll be the go-to expert for technical leadership, solution design, and best practices across all Business Central implementations, migrations, and integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge of Business Central and a passion for solution design, architecture governance, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

In this role, you’ll:

• Own the technical architecture and design for Business Central solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and robust technical solutions
• Design integrations between Business Central and third-party applications, leveraging APIs, Azure services, and middleware where appropriate
• Define data models, extension frameworks, security models, and coding standards
• Collaborate with functional consultants and customers to validate solution designs and align to business goals
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and consultants throughout delivery
• Guide development teams on architecture principles, coding best practices, and deployment approaches
• Support data migration strategies, release management, and DevOps pipeline setup
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical solutioning, scoping, and effort estimation
• Stay up to date with Microsoft product updates and emerging technologies to continually improve solution offerings

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a Technical Architect or Senior Developer role with Dynamics 365 Business Central (and previous NAV versions)
• Deep knowledge of AL development, extension models, APIs, and integration patterns within Business Central
• Strong experience designing technical solutions involving complex configurations, customisations, and third-party integrations
• Understanding of core finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing processes as they relate to ERP systems
• Proficient in Azure services commonly used in integrations (e.g. Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus)
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control for Business Central deployments is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to mentor, guide, and support development teams to uphold standards and quality
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central are highly desirable
