The Solutions Engineer serves as the technical authority within the sales process, partnering with Account Executives to help prospects understand, trust and confidently adopt the technology.

You will combine deep expertise in the platform, hosting infrastructure, security controls and AI capabilities with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will help clients understand how the technology works, how it is secured and how it can address their needs, while managing complex technical diligence processes through to successful completion.

  • Translate client requirements into realistic, practical solutions using the platform's current capabilities
  • Build confidence amongst both technical and business stakeholders throughout the buying process
  • Support Enterprise Directors in progressing opportunities and removing technical barriers to purchases
  • Prioritise and balance pre-sales activities – demonstrations, solution workshops and customer engagements – to maximise commercial impact and support revenue objectives

Security, AI and technical due diligence

  • Act as the primary client-facing expert on platform architecture, hosting, security controls, integrations, data management and AI capabilities
  • Lead discussions with client security, technology, procurement, compliance, legal and risk teams
  • Coordinate and project manage complex information security review processes from initiation through to approval
  • Own the completion and quality assurance of security questionnaires, due diligence requests, architecture reviews and technical assessments, leveraging AI where possible
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and external partners to gather responses and evidence required during procurement processes
  • Explain security controls and risk management practices in a way that is both accurate and confidence-building

AI and platform expertise

  • Develop deep expertise in the platform architecture and product road map
  • Become the internal authority on AI capabilities, governance approach, controls and data handling practices
  • Help clients understand how AI functionality operates within the platform and how it aligns with their governance and risk requirements

Knowledge management and continuous improvement

  • Own and maintain security documentation, AI governance documentation, hosting documentation, technical FAQs, due diligence response libraries and architecture materials
  • Continuously improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of technical responses

Required experience

  • Experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Proven track record supporting Enterprise SaaS sales processes
  • Experience leading technical diligence and security review processes with large organisations

  • Familiarity with information security frameworks and enterprise procurement requirements
  • Experience discussing AI technologies, governance and security considerations with clients

Skills and attributes

  • Curious, analytical and continuously learning about AI, security and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
