Duties and Responsibilities
- Use your initiative to complete the tasks below to a high standard and seek direction where required.
- Remove finger marks from all doors and windows
- Sweep, hoover rooms, dust, mop all areas
- Hoover and clean all staircases
- Clean and sanitise toilets and sinks
- Wipe down door handles
- Polish mirrors
- Empty bins
- Wipe shelving
- Staff/children's toilets
- Wash floor
- Clean toilet
- Clean sink area
- Empty bin
- Offices
- Empty bins – nightly
- Wipe down surfaces
- Staff room and Kitchenette
- Hoover floor
- Disinfect and wipe sides
- Clean the sink
- Empty bins
- Ensure all utensils, mugs, plates and bowls are washed up and put away
- Security
- Ensure all windows / doors / gates and main doors are closed and locked at the end of the evening.

About You
Ensure that you understand the standards and philosophy of the nursery and project them at all times to parents and other staff members. Ensure that your own personal hygiene is to be kept to a high standard at all times and you are using the appropriate gloves, protective clothing whilst working.
