Job Title: Nursery Teacher Location: Two schools in London – Putney, SW15 6EH and Southfields, SW19 6SP Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum (Experienced Level 3 & above with >1year of experience) Job type: Full time, Monday Friday; 7:15am-5:15pm / 8am-6pm / 8:30am-6:30pm (1 hour lunch break + 15 min coffee/tea break) At Noddy’s Nursery School we aim to create a feeling of a home from home where your child can feel inspired, grow in confidence and receive the best level of care and attention. Open from 7.20am until 6.30pm, 51 weeks a year, both of our nurseries take children from 3 months to 5 years either on a full-time basis or a minimum of 2 full days per week. Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visas at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK Salaries: For experienced & qualified staff (Level 3 and above) £31,000/annum (Experienced Level 3 & above with >1year of experience) + £1,000 Performance Related Bonus Total salary + bonus = £32,000 We also employ unqualified staff wishing to study and those that have completed their L2, looking to study their L3. For Level 2 qualified staff £24,600/annum + £1,000 Performance Related Bonus Total salary + bonus = £25,600 + Paid for full training for Level 3 For unqualified staff £22,500/annum + £1,000 Performance Related Bonus Total salary + bonus = £23,500 + Paid for full training for Level 2 / Level 3 Benefits: Holiday 23 or 24 days per year + 8 bank holidays – Approx. 32 days a year in total 1 day off every 2 weeks. That is an extra 26 days off per year! A total of 58 days off per year! Extra holiday accrued through loyalty 1 extra day per year and per promotion We only promote internally. A Senior Nursery Teacher can earn up to £33,600 per year and Junior Managers £41,600 per year. We promoted 20 staff in the last 12 months! Full training provided including paediatric first aid, hundreds of online courses, support to upskill in certain areas such as special educational needs (SEN), child development, manager training courses etc. Cycle to Work Scheme. In house chefs and housekeepers meaning no washing up or preparing food. You can just focus on being a nursery teacher. Free mental health & wellbeing program for all staff from Health Assured Free tea, coffee, and other refreshments on your break. Stylish Noddys uniform provided Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Ensure that the high standards and philosophy of Noddys is always implemented in front of children, parents and other staff members. Ensure that you are following the Early Years Foundation Stage, using all relevant paperwork to plan, observe, track and move children forward to their next stage of development Being responsible for a key group of children, keeping an accurate record of their developments and achievements. Write termly learning journeys for each child in your key group. Being aware of each childs individual care needs, including medical information, sleeping and dietary needs. Record the childrens sleep times, eating habits and bottle-feeds and undertake weekly observations. Preparation and completion of activities, both in the classroom and in the garden, to suit each childs stage of development. Ensure that the children are safe and safeguarding procedures are always adhered to. Ensure children who are unwell are monitored in line with our sickness & temperature policies and that management are notified so arrangements can be made with the parents if they need to collect their child from Noddys.
