Your Mission
- Provide legal advisory support across the business: commercial contracts (merchant, partner, and vendor agreements), licensing, service terms, data processing agreements, and related documentation.
- Lead negotiation of key commercial and strategic transactions (e.g., partnerships, integrations, and vendor/supplier agreements).
- Work closely with the risk, compliance, and operations functions to align legal strategy with operational requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Develop, maintain, and refine Noda’s legal policies, procedures, and templates (contracts, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property).
- Provide corporate governance support: board and shareholder matters, corporate entity structure, board minutes, and resolutions.
- Monitor emerging legal and regulatory developments in fintech/payment services, evaluate business impact, and provide proactive guidance.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to senior management and functional leads, balancing commercial objectives with legal risk.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience (commercial contracts + regulatory compliance), ideally within fintech/payments/financial services.
- Deep understanding of payments regulation (open banking, PSD2, e‑money regulations as applicable), data protection (GDPR), AML/KYC, and fintech compliance.
- Strong commercial mindset: able to partner with business teams, support growth, anticipate issues, and provide pragmatic legal advice.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, scaling startup/scale‑up environment, with dynamic priorities and evolving regulatory context.
