Support Worker - Learning Disabilities

Key Responsibilities for Support Worker: * Assist clients with personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, and toileting). * Support clients with household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping. * Help clients participate in social and recreational activities, both in the home and in the community. * Encourage independence and help individuals achieve their personal goals. * Provide emotional support and companionship. * Follow care plans, ensuring all client needs are met. * Assist in administering medication and monitor health conditions, where necessary. * Record and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors. * Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
