Nocturnal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a locality-based Health and Adult Social Services (HASS) multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to deliver meaningful, person-centred interventions that support adults to live safely and independently within their communities. You will contribute to a collaborative, integrated health and social care environment, undertaking complex assessments and leading on major adaptations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex occupational therapy assessments, delivering holistic and person-centred evaluations for individuals with diverse health needs and their carers.
  • Assess, design, and recommend major adaptations and complex equipment, including interpreting plans, preparing sketches, and producing detailed specifications.
  • Complete comprehensive manual handling assessments and provide clear, practical guidance for safe mobility, transfers, and positioning.
  • Recommend and review both standard and specialist equipment, ensuring safe use in line with legislation and policy.
  • Manage and prioritise a complex caseload, progressing cases efficiently through the service.
  • Develop and review support plans collaboratively with clients and their families.
