About the Role
Nocturnal Recruitment are looking for experienced Minibus drivers with previous experience of working within care or a similar setting. This role is based for a Day Centre in Enfield that supports adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. Your role will involve driving service users to appointments, activities, and day services as well as to the centre or their home. You will work with several passenger assistants that will be supporting the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive service users to and from community activities, appointments, and family visits.
- Ensure passenger safety and wellbeing throughout the journey.
- Conduct pre-service vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with care and patience.
- Stay updated on road closures and diversions to maintain schedule accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Minibus Driver based in Enfield.
- A full UK manual driving licence with a D1 is essential.
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality support.
- Hold a valid DBS within the last 12 months - preferably registered online or be able to complete a new one.
