Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join a vibrant early years setting. This role involves supporting the development, learning, and wellbeing of children aged 2-5 years through engaging, play-based experiences in line with the EYFS framework. You will be part of a dedicated and supportive team where your knowledge and creativity are valued. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
  • Support children aged 2-5 with their learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families
  • Observe, assess, and track children's progress using developmental records
  • Plan activities that promote school readiness and early learning goals
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating nursery environment
  • Work as part of a supportive early years team
  • Always follow safeguarding and child protection procedures

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education (or full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator or EYFS Teacher
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
