Nocturnal Recruitment are currently seeking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead one of their Childrens Residential Homes. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader who is committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people.
As Registered Manager, you will lead and inspire a skilled staff team, ensure the home operates to the highest standards, and play a key role in delivering exceptional care and positive outcomes for every child in placement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the childrens home
- Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations and organisational standards
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and oversee safeguarding practices
- Lead, supervise, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
- Promote high-quality, trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support
- Oversee care planning, quality assurance, and operational performance
- Manage budgets and support the effective running of the home
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Manager within Childrens Residential Care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and trauma-informed practice
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver outstanding care
- Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
