Overview of the role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Senior Examinations Officer to join our Examinations team.
Reporting to the Examinations & Awarding Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services aligned with NOCN’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of examinations.
- Develop, review and maintain exam materials.
- Ensure exams meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Monitor and improve examination quality.
- Manage and support external writers/reviewers.
- Work with internal teams, exam centres and other stakeholders.
- Support audits and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Contribute to projects, policies and assessment strategies.
About You
- Experience in exams/assessment and quality assurance.
- Experience developing and evaluating examinations.
- Education-sector experience.
- Experience managing contractors or teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of assessment principles and exam regulations.
- Good leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
