As a Marketing and Communications Executive, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- To raise the profile through marketing and communications of NOCN Group as an international charity which delivers future-fit skills solutions with social impact for Colleges, training providers, employers and individuals.
- Plan, execute and evaluate key marketing and communications output across various media channels demonstrating a real flare for creative thinking, excellent copywriting and a keen eye for brand application and communication innovation.
- Under the direction of the marketing managers, support effective delivery of external and internal marketing and communications projects, campaigns and activities in line with the NOCN Group Marketing Strategy and Plan.
- Deliver creative external and internal campaigns, on time and to budget, through all media as appropriate, evaluating and reporting the outcomes of these campaigns.
- Support internal communications activities across a variety of internal channels.
- Uphold the brand narrative guide through producing and advising on coherent, creative and visually impactful content across internal and external audiences both digital and print media.
The successful candidate will need to meet the following ‘must have’ criteria:
- Level 2 or higher in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing role (in-house or agency).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Planning and co-ordinating effective marketing campaigns.
- Able to draft documents in plain English, capturing key points and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and of CRM systems and Outlook to intermediate level.
Other ‘useful to have’ criteria includes:
- Degree or equivalent in a related subject such as marketing, communications, advertising, business and management, psychology.
- Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing or Digital Marketing OR equivalent.
- Administration of budgets and experience of costing simple projects.
- Working knowledge of the Education and skills sector.
