Freelance End Point Assessor- Construction Plant Operative
NOCN Group is seeking a freelance End Point Assessor/IQA with significant experience as a Construction Plant Operative to carry out End Point Assessments for the Construction Plant Operative apprenticeship Standard.
Location: Travel may be required to sites
Hours: Freelance
Purpose and Objectives:
- Ensure End Point Assessments are conducted independently and meet NOCN\’s quality assurance standards.
- Complete assessments according to the prescribed assessment instruments within the End Point Assessment plan.
Responsibilities:
- Assess apprentices against Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors through tests, observations, questioning, and interviews as per the assessment plan.
- Upload assessment reports timely, adhering to NOCN\’s service level agreements.
- Prepare for assessments and identify gaps in apprentices\’ KSBs.
- Build rapport with apprentices to facilitate their best performance.
- Maintain up-to-date CPD in their subject area.
- Represent NOCN professionally during assessments.
- Adhere to GDPR and data security practices.
- Moderate other assessors\’ work in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
Role Requirements:
- Hold or be working towards an Assessor Qualification (e.g., CAVA/A1).
- Operational experience: Forklift (1 year), Ride-on Roller (1 year), Excavator 360 (2 years), Dumper/Dump Truck (1 year).
- CSCS Card endorsed with all relevant plant categories.
