By completing these checks and recording data accurately right from the start, the team helps protect the firm, our clients and our reputation while ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

This role involves collating client information and then creating the client and matter record on our practice management system, making sure all details are accurate and complete. You will also be responsible for undertaking client due diligence and identity verification checks. In this role you will liaise with staff internally and you will guide clients through the onboarding process where required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with the opening of all new client and matter files of each team ensuring that the correct procedures are followed.
  • Carrying out client due diligence and identity checks.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate records on the firm’s practice management system.
  • Liaising with relevant staff internally to ensure that the process is completed promptly for clients.
  • Guiding clients through the onboarding process, explaining what they need to provide and assisting with any queries as appropriate.

The successful candidate will be confident using IT systems, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in a client-facing, administrative or compliance-based role would be beneficial, and you should be comfortable guiding clients through processes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism. Previous client onboarding experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
