About the Role

You will provide accurate and timely HR and L&D administration that supports the employee lifecycle from recruitment to leaving, keeping HR records and systems up to date, and contributing to a positive colleague experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding for new joiners, including coordination of inductions, reference requests, buddy allocation, filing new starter documentation/ID, and arranging DBS checks.
  • Administer benefits including private healthcare, life assurance, pension, and car park.
  • Support salary review and bonus process as required.
  • Maintain SelectHR records, updating personal details, job information, absence records and generating ad‑hoc reports.
  • Organise trainee interview days, vacation placement scheme, and school/law fairs.
  • Coordinate interviews and liaise with candidates, interviewers, and recruitment agencies.
  • Support development review process, collating paperwork and updating records.
  • Maintain data in the Learning Management System (LMS), adding internal events, updating details, monitoring registrations.
  • Process requests for external training and ensure details recorded on the LMS.
  • Coordinate logistics for L&D events, including rooms, catering and travel where needed; support the L&D Manager in promoting learning events, drafting emails and intranet articles.
  • Act as first point of contact for HR and L&D queries, resolving routine queries and escalating complex matters.

About You

Require A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above, confident in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), willing to learn HR and L&D systems such as SelectHR and the LMS, and working towards apprenticeship qualification. You communicate clearly and professionally, work collaboratively, handle confidential HR information with discretion, are organised and accurate, manage time and priorities effectively, show initiative, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
