About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic temporary team member to join us over the busy Christmas period! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a team during the festive season.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, welcoming, and attentive customer service to all guests.
- Taking customer orders accurately and serving food and drinks promptly.
- Assisting with setting up tables, clearing plates, and maintaining a clean and tidy dining area.
- Supporting the team with food and drink preparation, where required, and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained.
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Helping maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Supporting the team during busy service periods, particularly throughout Christmas and New Year.
- Ensuring guests enjoy a positive dining experience throughout the festive season.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, hardworking, and reliable attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends.
- Availability throughout the Christmas and New Year period, including busy seasonal trading days.
- Previous restaurant experience is desirable but not essential.
Hours, Availability & Seasonal Commitment
- An average of 10+ hours per week.
- Availability to work both weekdays and weekends is essential.
- Working over the Christmas and New Year period is a requirement of the role. Applicants must be available to work during this busy festive period, including key trading days as scheduled.
- Flexible shifts depending on business needs, with additional hours potentially available during busy periods.
- Commitment to the full temporary contract period, from 10th November to 10th January.
