A growing IT and telecoms business is looking for a Head of IT Sales to own its managed services number and lead from the front. The company has more than doubled in size over the last five years, and the next stage of that growth is being driven almost entirely through its IT and MSP offering.

This is a genuine player-coach role. You'll own the overall IT sales number, lead a small team of internal and field salespeople, and still spend your week out in front of customers and partners. This role suits someone who wants to build something, not sit in a corner office watching a dashboard!

Why it's a great opportunity:

  • There's a base of around 2,000 existing telco customers who have never bought IT. That's a serious cross-sell opportunity across 365, managed services, cyber and hardware, alongside new logo growth.
  • The portfolio keeps expanding, too, with an AI copilot readiness proposition launching shortly.

You'll act as the bridge between the operational sales team and the senior leadership team, owning the IT business end to end.

What we're looking for:

  • A strong track record selling IT managed services, with real depth across the 365 estate, MSP, cyber and hardware.
  • Proven experience leading or developing a sales team, with a hands-on coaching approach.
  • Someone who's comfortable carrying a personal target as well as leading others.
  • A solutions seller who builds business properly through discovery and trust, not by relying on a black book.
  • The credibility to get in front of partners and customers and represent the business well.

What's on offer:

  • £65,000 to £75,000 basic depending on experience.
  • Realistic uncapped OTE of £125,000.
