Our client is a mission-focused organisation set on making the world a better place. They are seeking a Head of HR to support their continued growth and stability. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a significant impact. You’ll work in partnership with senior leadership to drive engagement, shape people strategy, and build effective HR policies and processes that support future ambitions. The role requires a proactive approach to HR leadership, strong prioritisation skills, and an ability to contribute to a close-knit, agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across the organisation
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support and build robust relationships across all levels
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new staff
  • Lead the monthly payroll process
  • Design and support training and development initiatives, including statutory and mandatory requirements
  • Coordinate the annual performance and salary review processes
  • Advise on and help resolve employee relations matters
  • Review, develop, and communicate HR policies and ensure legal compliance
  • Create and implement a people strategy that champions engagement, inclusion, and retention
  • Develop strategies for succession planning and career progression
  • Support the preparation and presentation of reports and data for the executive board
  • Help foster a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture

About You:

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while also collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and first-class communication and relationship management skills
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and confident dealing with complex ER cases
  • Proven track record of driving positive organisational change and workplace culture
