As a Staff Restaurant Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high quality meals for our colleagues while maintaining the highest kitchen standards. You will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing and energy of the team by ensuring the staff restaurant offers fresh, balanced and well presented food every day. Working closely with the Executive Chef and wider kitchen team, you will help maintain a positive kitchen environment while ensuring all food is prepared safely, efficiently and in line with Nobu standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high quality meals for the staff restaurant
  • Manage and oversee the daily staff restaurant menu offering
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, preparation and presentation
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and operating efficiently at all times
  • Carry out stock checks, labelling and equipment checks regularly
  • Maintain strong food hygiene and health and safety practices
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and menu improvements within budget
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade
  • Support and train new team members where required
  • Attend team briefings and share ideas to improve operations
  • Communicate effectively with departments across the hotel
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and statutory regulations
