As The Lounge Barista at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll be the creator of crafted coffee and tea experiences for our guests. With precision, warmth and attention to detail, you’ll ensure every drink is perfectly prepared and every interaction reflects Nobu’s signature hospitality.
You will:
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee and other beverages to Nobu standards
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specialty drinks
- Ensure the Barista station is set up and closed down accurately and on time
- Keep the coffee area clean, tidy and fully stocked throughout your shift
- Check brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Provide attentive, genuine and friendly service to every guest
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised, crafted experiences
- Interact with guests, take orders and make recommendations confidently
- Support and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment
- Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for service improvement
- Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to work and guest care
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory standards
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
