As a Pilates Instructor, you will bring the Nobu Pilates philosophy to life, guiding guests through inspiring, precise and thoughtfully designed sessions that promote strength, balance and overall wellbeing. Whether leading group classes or one-to-one sessions, you will create a welcoming, energising environment where every guest feels supported, challenged and cared for. This role is ideal for a passionate Pilates professional who values technique, connection and exceptional guest experience.
You will:
- Deliver group and private Pilates sessions to the highest Nobu standards, creating a refined and personalised experience for every guest.
- Teach Classical Pilates across the mat and full apparatus including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Tower and Barrel.
- Design and adapt sessions to suit individual needs, abilities and fitness goals.
- Bring Nobu Pilates principles - Power, Precision and Pure - into every class and interaction.
- Maintain accurate guest records, feedback and progress notes in line with professional standards.
- Support the end-to-end guest journey, ensuring every visit reflects true Omotenashi.
- Work closely with the Pilates Director and Assistant Manager to support diary management and studio operations.
- Help nurture, grow and retain the Pilates client base through consistency, care and expertise.
- Maintain exceptional standards of safety, cleanliness and professionalism within the studio.
- Attend wellness, departmental and hotel-wide meetings and training sessions.
- Build strong relationships across Fitness & Wellness, Rooms and hotel teams.
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu values - Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive and flexible approach to supporting guests and colleagues.
- Suggest improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality and guest experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 year Pilates Instructor experience in a luxury lifestyle environment.
- A full comprehensive Pilates qualification with a minimum of 400 hours is preferred (on Mat, Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair, Barrels). Minimum requirement of Mat, Reformer and Chair certification.
- Certified to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.
- Certified to teach all injuries and cases.
- Must have qualification in Pre and Post Natal Pilates teaching.
- Used to working flexible shift patterns and weekends.
- Experience of using booking and diary management systems is preferable.
