As a Security Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of our guests, colleagues and hotel. Acting as a visible and reassuring presence, you will support daily operations, respond to incidents with professionalism and care, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment that reflects Nobu's standards and values.
You will:
- Ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of all guests, colleagues and the hotel at all times
- Patrol the hotel and surrounding areas, monitoring access points, equipment and surveillance systems
- Complete accurate incident and handover reports, maintaining clear records of events
- Carry out administrative duties during your shift, including logs and system updates
- Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, providing assistance where required
- Assist with investigations and gather information when incidents occur
- Liaise with management, emergency services and relevant authorities when necessary
- Remain aware of VIP guests on shift and apply appropriate additional security measures
- Support day to day health and safety compliance across the hotel
- Act as a professional point of contact for guests and colleagues, resolving concerns with discretion
- Work collaboratively with all departments to uphold security procedures

What We’re Looking For:
You bring a minimum of two years’ experience as a Security Officer within a luxury hotel or property environment. You ideally hold a valid SIA licence and emergency first aid certification, with strong knowledge of health and safety, fire safety and security operations procedures. Confident working in a control room environment, you are observant, calm under pressure and professional in your approach. With strong communication skills and a guest focused mindset, you deliver security with warmth, care and integrity.
