As Engineering Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our hotel operates to the highest standards by overseeing maintenance activities, supporting the engineering team and driving preventative maintenance programmes across the property.

You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to maintain our luxury facilities, support operational excellence and create an environment where both guests and colleagues can thrive.

  • Support the Chief Engineer in supervising the day-to-day activities of the Engineering team and coordinating workloads across the hotel.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance programmes, ensuring accurate records are maintained and updated.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and well-presented environment for guests, colleagues and visitors.
  • Monitor contractors and ensure all works are completed safely, professionally and in line with Nobu standards.
  • Support the operation and upkeep of building systems including electrical, water, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate repairs across guest rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain inventory levels for engineering parts, tools and supplies while supporting budget controls.
  • Carry out regular inspections of the hotel and proactively identify maintenance requirements.
  • Work closely with Security and operational departments to uphold health, safety and compliance standards throughout the property.
  • Support, train and develop engineering colleagues, helping create a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Assist with audits, SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Build strong relationships across Housekeeping, Front Office, Security and Food & Beverage teams to support the wider hotel operation.

What We're Looking For

You have previous engineering or maintenance supervisory experience within a hotel, hospitality or comparable operational environment.

You possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

You are passionate about maintaining high standards, enjoy supporting and developing others and understand the importance of creating a safe, well-maintained environment that enhances the guest experience.
