As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will support the pastry team in creating beautifully presented desserts and baked items that reflect the quality and creativity of Nobu. Working closely with the Pastry Head Chef and wider kitchen brigade, you will assist with preparation, production and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, consistency and attention to detail.

  • Assist with the preparation, baking and presentation of pastry dishes
  • Ensure your station is organised, stocked and ready for service
  • Follow Nobu recipes and standards to deliver consistency and quality
  • Maintain strong food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety standards
  • Support allergen management and avoid cross contamination at all times
  • Ensure pastry equipment is clean, maintained and reported if damaged
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during service
  • Support and welcome new team members into the pastry team
  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work
  • Be available to support other kitchen areas when required
