As a Porter, you will be one of the first faces our guests meet, playing a key role in creating a warm welcome from the moment they arrive.

Supporting guests with their luggage, providing local knowledge and assisting with arrivals and departures, you will help deliver a seamless and memorable experience that reflects the exceptional service standards of Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.

Working closely with the Concierge, Front Office and Housekeeping teams, you will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued and cared for throughout their stay.

  • Welcome guests warmly and create an exceptional first impression on arrival
  • Assist guests with luggage, parcels and personal belongings with care and professionalism
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about the hotel and its facilities
  • Respond confidently to guest enquiries regarding the hotel, local area and transport options
  • Maintain the entrance, lobby and guest arrival areas to the highest presentation standards
  • Work closely with the Concierge and Front Office teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Assist with guest requests, deliveries and errands throughout the hotel
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up where required
  • Support and welcome new team members into the department
  • Attend team briefings and contribute ideas to improve the guest experience
  • Demonstrate a proactive, positive and service focused approach to work

You are physically active, organised and always willing to go the extra mile to support both guests and colleagues.

Previous experience in a porter, concierge, guest services or customer facing role would be advantageous, although a positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality are what matter most.
