Nobox is hiring an Aircraft/IFE Maintenance Engineer.
Scope of the role:
- Conduct line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations on In-Flight Entertainment systems, adhering to UK CAA regulations.
- Perform built-in and manual tests, troubleshoot electronic failures, and replace defective parts as needed.
- Customer Support: Interface with customers, document repairs, and assist in spare inventory tracking.
- Additional Responsibilities: Maintain communication with management, operate vehicles around airport properties, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and undertake any related duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Licenses: Must have an A or B1 or B2 license with a Type Rating on (A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767)
- Experience: General knowledge of electrical mechanics and experience in commercial aviation, military service, or technical school is highly preferred. IFE or avionics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on ladders or platforms, and endure standing, sitting, and bending for extended periods.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid UK driver's license and be open to shift work.
Additional Details:
- Shifts: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off).
- Travel: minimum amount of travel across UK.
