The Role

We are seeking a professional, organised, and welcoming Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and supportive experience for everyone who contacts or visits our office. This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Booking and confirming appointments
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining an organised reception area
  • Assisting solicitors and caseworkers with general administrative tasks
  • Managing confidential information in line with firm policies

About You

  • Previous reception or front-of-house experience (legal sector experience desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • A calm, empathetic, and professional approach when dealing with clients

Experience working with vulnerable clients or individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds would be advantageous.
