About us: Nobody’s Child is for the free thinkers, the dreamers, and the go-getters. Born in 2015, we’ve spent the last decade creating clothes that feel as good as they look for people that embrace individuality, live with purpose, and want to leave the world a little better than they found it. It’s been 10 years of creativity, growth, and bold ideas, and the values that guide us haven’t changed.
About you: We’re looking for a confident Keyholder to join our St. Albans store on a flexible full-time basis (40 hours per week). As a trusted team member and brand ambassador, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, support the leadership team, and help inspire a positive, high-performing in-store culture. This is a transitional role between Sales Associate and Management, where your focus remains on driving sales while supporting operational reliability. You’ll play a key role in leading by example and creating a memorable shopping experience rooted in confidence, kindness, and sustainability.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Delivering a warm, personalised shopping experience where every customer feels welcomed, valued, and inspired
- Leading by example on the shop floor to drive sales, encourage authentic upselling and cross-selling, and maximise customer engagement
- Confidently sharing product knowledge, styling advice, and sustainability stories with customers
- Holding store keys and opening/closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed
- Acting as the in-charge team member in the absence of a manager, supporting the team on shift
- Supporting smooth daily operations and end-of-day procedures
- Handling customer queries and complaints with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused mindset
- Supporting till operations, including processing purchases, refunds, and returns
- Maintaining high visual merchandising and operational standards, ensuring the store is clean, organised, and on brand at all times
- Managing stock replenishment, deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Keeping fitting rooms, till areas, and assigned spaces tidy and customer ready
- Supporting basic operational tasks and guiding team members where needed, without formal line management responsibility
- Actively contribute to our company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work. This includes minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing, supporting our circular economy initiatives, and encouraging customers and colleagues to make choices that align with our sustainability values.
What You’ll Bring:
- A genuine passion for sustainable fashion and Nobody’s Child’s mission
- Previous keyholder experience or strong retail experience with leadership responsibilities
- Excellent communication, organisation, and people skills
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to be kind, brave, agile, and optimistic
- Confidence in taking responsibility when required, while working collaboratively as part of a team
- Weekend availability (essential)
