About You: We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team, reporting into a Merchandising Manager. Planning and delivering a commercially focused range alongside the Buying and Design team, you'll be skilled at driving profit and enhancing Nobody’s Child position in the responsible fashion market.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and driving the department category planning by season.
  • Reviewing weekly trading performance and achieved KPI's, identifying issues and the course of action with the Merch Manager and CEO.
  • Leading on new product launches, offers and promotions.
  • Managing sales/Margin/Stock Levels across your department.
  • Working closely with the Buying team to build a balanced range in line with customer expectation that reflects the Nobody’s Child brand strategy, by delivering correct product mixes and pricing architecture that delivers the right product at the right quantity.
  • Managing department WSSI’s, reacting to performance, managing risk and potentialising bestsellers.
  • Analyses and monitoring best and worst sellers and making informed recommendations for action, recommending promotions and re buys as necessary.
  • Forecast profits and sales, and optimise the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas at category and line level.
  • Collaborate and support the wholesale department in range planning.
  • Supporting on weekly stock sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI) in season forecasting and markdown maintenance.
  • Leading and managing the dresses merch team, leading by example managing a JM, AM and Senior MAA.
  • Preparing Trade reports confidently presenting to key stakeholders driving out clear weekly trade actions for the team, adapting analysis and actions to the trading environment.
  • Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
  • Actively contribute to our company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work. This includes minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing, supporting our circular economy initiatives, and encouraging customers and colleagues to make choices that align with our sustainability values.

You will come with around 6+ years of Merchandising experience working for a fast paced womenswear retailer and have experience with an online retailer. You will enjoy working in an agile trading environment, that's fast paced and ever evolving. You'll also bring a strong passion for responsible product and sustainable fashion along with your commercial eye.
