About You
The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of 7 - 10 retail Nobody’s Child stores to ensure efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. Reporting into the head of Retail, you will partner cross functionally to deliver excellent operational support to the business. This role focuses on optimizing processes, managing staff performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving sales growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day retail operations across multiple store locations
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Monitoring sales performance and implementing action plans to meet or exceed targets
- Managing, training, and supporting store managers and retail staff
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service standards
- Analysing operational data and generating reports for senior management
- Maintaining inventory control, stock levels, and shrinkage reduction strategies
- Coordinating with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Managing budgets, expenses, and cost control initiatives
To hit the ground running, you'll come with:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a retail operations role in a fast-paced, growing retail environment
- Strong prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
