Our Client is looking for you to support the logistics function by arranging transportation and creation of fully compliant documentation which supports smooth business operations by ensuring all goods are moved in a cost effective, efficient, and timely manner. Working in a self-driven, self-sufficient and proactive team, assist the transport supervisor and wider commercial team in ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
Job Purpose
Manage the daily logistics schedule (Goods in and out) through close liaison with the commercial, procurement, customs, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using the resources within Logistics function to ensure delivery of products to the end customer are made in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with transport regulations.
- Oversee the UK daily despatch schedule, including:
- Produce accurate and compliant documentation to accompany every shipment.
- Update the weekly goods in and out KPI's.
- Seek updates from third party hauliers and obtaining PODs.
- Assist transport supervisor in administering European and RoW shipments.
- Compiling a monthly reconciliation of Export packs.
