Noble Recruiting have partnered with one of the biggest brands in the Electrical and Renewable Engineering accreditation sector and have been tasked with finding the best talent in the industry to help drive the business forward. We have a wonderful opportunity open for an experienced Area Engineer on a sub-contracted basis to join their Renewable Technical team covering Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

Day rate set at £330 per day. Sub contractual position with the offer for full time hours if wanted! Location: Plymouth, Exeter, Cornwall, Devon to Penzance/Lands End areas.

Please note you will need your own I-Pad to carry out assessments on site visits. Your role will include servicing and installations of Heat pumps, Solar Thermal & PV and Battery Storage, as well as getting involved with various disciplines.

You would be responsible for ensuring that supply, design, installation, set to work, commissioning and handover of microgeneration systems of a given technology for which their company is certified, are conducted correctly in accordance with current regulations and Scheme requirements, including industry standards and manufacturers/product specific requirements.

Person Specifications:

  • Level 3 qualified to complete installs.
  • Be competent in the technical aspects associated with the technology or technologies that they are responsible for.
  • UK Driving Licence.
