We are delighted to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a 'Service Charges Rent Manager' on a permanent, full-time basis!
Purpose of the role: The post holder would be responsible for the day-to-day management of service charges and rent across 7,000+ homes, ensuring services are accurate, transparent, and compliant with legislation. The role covers setting, billing, reconciling, and collecting all charges, as well as overseeing rent application. The post holder would be working closely with internal teams, residents and contractors ensuring fairness, value for money and customer experience at all times.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Lead service charge budgeting, forecasting and financial performance, ensuring accuracy and cost control.
- Oversee billing, rent and charge setting, and account management, ensuring compliance and transparency for residents.
- Ensure all service charges, rents, and utilities meet legal and regulatory requirements, including audits and reporting.
- Manage resident communication, resolving queries and complaints professionally.
