I am working with a leading distributor within the FMCG industry who are expanding their team and searching for a National Account Manager. This role will be managing their wholesale customers, responsible for account management, business planning, customer service and driving sales growth whilst building longstanding relationships.
- Develop strategies to retain customers and maximise their lifetime value.
- Manage your territory effectively, optimising coverage for the best reach.
- Pricing and negotiation - discuss a competitive pricing strategy to secure profitable deals.
- Promotions and products, becoming the product expert and selling promotions to key accounts.
- Forecasting sales projections.
- Researching the market and looking at new target markets to support with business growth.
- Monitoring sales metrics and analysing different variances.
- Gather market and competitor intelligence.
- Manage the customer's account all the way through, liaising with internal teams.
